The Statistical Forms Used:
1- Expenditure and consumption form (Form No. 30/A.Q.S.T):
This form consists of fourteen tables in addition to the identifying and geographical data of the family on the cover of the form. The form is divided into two main sections:
A- Part One: Basic data of the household and some other data.
B - Part Two: Expenditure and consumption data for the commodity and service groups.
2- The auxiliary form (Form No. 30/B.Q.S.T):
It is a daily record in which the family or the researcher records the data of her actual spending or consumption of food, drink, ready meals, and tobacco, day by day, during the research period.
3- Income form (Form No. 30/J.Q.S.T):
Income data for all family members with income during the research year, according to different sources of income, are recorded in the last visit to the family.

Supervision
Field work methodology:
A- Those working in this research were selected through the competition from among the most efficient members of distinguished young graduates, especially females, and those with previous experience were preferred.
B- The field work structure consists of the following supervisory and executive levels:
- 65 field supervisors.
- 130 field references.
- 260 field researchers.
C- Central training courses were held at the agency's headquarters in Cairo for supervisors and local for auditors and researchers in eight training points covering all regions of the Republic. The training lasted for a full month, during which training was conducted on how to complete the search forms automatically.
D- The research data was collected by switching from the paper method to an integrated system automatically using portable computers (laptops) in the manner of a personal interview for the family in the residence in which they reside. The data was obtained from the head of the family, the wife, or a rational adult from the family members. In the absence of the head of the family and the wife, the field work continued with the research from 1/1/2015 - 31/12/2015.
E- The researchers visited each of the surveyed families four times during the research period according to a schedule prepared for this purpose, and the duties of the researchers were determined during each of the four visits.
F- Income data was collected at the last visit to the household and after the completion of the collection of expenditure data so that the sensitivity of the income data does not affect the collection of expenditure data.
