Health sector represents one of public services sector elements that contribute in distribution of health services, reduction of disparity between urban and rural areas and balancing expenditures on curative and preventive health services, treatment at state expense and improving citizens health culture level

CAPMAS issues "Annual Bulletin of Health Services " which includes data on hospitals in (Government - Public / Public business – Private sectors) as well as therapeutic establishments that do not have an internal clinic according to the sector, geographical and qualitative distribution, data on No. of patients who were treated at state expenses abroad and inside , their treatment cost according to various specializations, as well as data on medical ambulance centers and No. of ambulances which are distributed according to accidents causes in addition to equipment and supplies.
