Survey sample
The survey sample was designed to be representative at the level of the governorates and regions of the Republic (urban governorates - urban Upper Egypt - rural Upper Egypt - urban Upper Egypt - rural Upper Egypt - border governorates), to give the indicators to be measured with a high level of accuracy and efficiency.
The design and size of the sample allows for the calculation of the main indicators at the level of each governorate separately.
The sample size was about 34 thousand households covering 1,348 cadastral plots, from each of which 25 households were selected (except for the borders, 35 households were selected) to ensure.
