First: Statistical Target:

In order to identify the size and the characteristics of Egyptians who obtained approval for legal emigration, also to define the development number of Egyptians of various specialties and scientific efficiencies during the period (2010 -2014) as well as to define the size and characteristics of emigrants in 2014.

In addition to identify the size and characteristics of Egyptians who obtained another foreign nationality during year (2010 – 2014) and to define the other nationalities that the Egyptians obtained during 2014.

Second: Data Resources:

Bulletin data related to emigrants who obtained the migration entity, and they live abroad in two forms 348, 349 that received from the authority of Passport – Nationality and Migration authority in the Ministry of Interior.

Third: The Statistics Periodicity:

The statistics released annually every year under the title of “Permanent Immigration of Egyptians” and the bulletin title changed to (Egyptians who obtained approval to Immigrate Abroad) since year 2010.

Fourth: The Statistics Include:

The immigrants who leave the country through legal channels as well as who are abroad and applied a request to be considered immigrant.

Fifth: Used Terms:

1- Main Scientific groups:

A- Medical Science:

Includes (Human Medicine- Dental Medicine- Veterinary Medicine).

B- Engineering Science:

Includes who get a bachelor’s in engineering.

C- Agriculture Science:

Includes who get a bachelor’s in Agriculture.

D- Basics Science:

Includes who get bachelor’s in science.

E- Human Science:

Includes who get higher degree regardless of what mentioned (Commerce- Law- Education- Literature…etc.).

2- Immigrants:

Immigrants who leave the country with immigration license through the legal channels.

3- Origin Immigrant:

The individual who applied in the concerned authorities to request immigration license outside the country, declaring his/ her desire to take his/her family with him/her.

4- Immigrants who gained the entity of Immigrant:

They are the individuals who leave the country without immigration license, then the acquired the entity of immigrant in the immigration country.

5- Accompanied:

The individual who get an immigration license outside the country following to the origin immigrant.

6- Acquiring a foreign country's nationality:

An immigrant considered to be a permanent immigration for any Egyptian who made his regular residence continuously outside the country and acquired the nationality of other country along with his Egyptian nationality and proves this right to his immigrant wife and children with him.
