General Statistics Law No.(35) of 1960 Article (403)
1-Individual statements are secret and no individual or authority may be informed of them.
2-No statistical statement may be used as a basis for a tax, and evidence shall not be taken for any judicial or legal action.
3-All must provide the required data to CAPMAS representatives matching the truth and on the specified dates, allow CAPMAS representatives to see all the documents to verify the statement truth.
4-Imprisonment not less than one month & not exceeding six months and a fine not less than L.E 100 and not exceeding L.E 500 shall be punished for any person who violates the provisions of the previous articles or makes incorrect statements.

All statistics issued by CAPMAS do not have dealing conditions other than those incoming in Law 35 or under Law 35
