Vital statistics are one of the main sources of population statistics

and a key component in studying and analysising of population trends - characteristics and population estimates

that help planners and decision-makers in developing appropriate plans,policies and development programs to face social

and economic problems that obstruct comprehensive development process in the society.Marriage and divorce statistics

data is one of these statistics that contribute in presentation of some demographic indicators and reflect the social

and economic conditions.CAPMAS is concerned with issuing "Annual Bulletin of Marriage

and Divorce" which includes marriage and divorce raw data,distribution of marriage

contracts and divorce certificates according to governorates,months and some other characteristics (education, religion, etc.).

CAPMAS presents this bulletin for 2016 to those interested in this field hoping to benefit from it
