Scope
The bulletin aims to identify the lengths of the road network and the numbers of bridges of all types across the Republic.Second: Bulletin periodical:
The bulletin is published every two years.

-The General Authority for Roads and Bridges. - New Urban Communities Authority
- Roads directorates/localities in the governorates of the Republic. - The National Railway Authority of Egypt
-Ministry of Water Resources and Irrigation. - National Authority for Tunnels.
Fourth - Terms and definitions used:
-Road: A strip of land with paths for pedestrians and vehicles.
-Road network: The network that makes movement possible for both pedestrians and vehicles
-The overhead bridge: It is constructed of reinforced concrete and is at the highest level of the ground (above a waterway or a railway). It takes the form of a curve and then pours onto the ground and is either for pedestrians or vehicles.
-Fixed bridge: It is made of reinforced concrete along the ground surface over canals and drains.
-The Epididymal Bridge: It is constructed under the road (semi-tunnel) and its purpose is to pass water and usually serves flood outlets.
-Pipe Bridge: It is constructed of reinforced concrete and is a large pipe whose purpose is to pass water and is over a canal or drain.
-Tunnel Bridge: It is constructed of reinforced concrete below the road level and is a path for pedestrians and light transportation
-Al-Malaj: It is a hanging bridge.
-Al-Adaya: A channel through which gas and oil lines pass under the road.
