Overview
The survey aims to provide data on the following topics:Household characteristics
1- Childbearing (reproductive rates, desired childbearing, optimal number of children).
2- Family planning (use, method source, unmet need, cessation rates).
3- Health care during pregnancy and childbirth.
4- Child health (child mortality, vaccinations, childhood diseases, nutritional status, measurement of hemoglobin levels, anemia).
5- Child welfare (child labor, child behavior control, child development).
6- Women’s health and empowerment (circumcision, domestic violence, women’s empowerment).
7- Attitudes of never-married young men/women aged 15-29 years (knowledge and attitudes towards family planning, desired childbearing, smoking, knowledge of circumcision, puberty, violence within the home, and the roles of men and women).
The basic unit of survey is the household.
Through the family, the group of women who have previously been married between the ages of (15-49) is targeted, as well as young men who have never been married in the age group of (15-29).

Coverage
Geographical coverage was done on the governorates of the Republic, except for North Sinai Governorate (with a total number of governorates of 26 governorates).The basic unit of survey is the household.
Through the family, the group of women who have previously been married between the ages of (15-49) is targeted, as well as young men who have never been married in the age group of (15-29).
