Introduction to the bulletin First: The aim of the bulletin: To identify the size and characteristics of Egyptians who obtain permits to work abroad so that the state can draw up foreign immigration policies, to confront its negative aspects and increase the benefit from its positive aspects. Second: Sources of Collecting Bulletin Data: The bulletin's data is obtained from the General Administration of Work Permits at the Ministry of Interior, as it represents the main reference for enumerating Egyptians working abroad. As it grants work permits to Egyptian citizens working for foreign bodies or agencies outside the country (governmental - private). Third: Comprehensiveness: The bulletin includes data for Egyptians who obtain permits to work abroad in the form of secondments, personal contracts, vacations, workers on foreign ships who are considered temporary immigrants, and it does not include the following: 1- Egyptians who work abroad in the government and private sectors or with companies An Egyptian woman doing business abroad. 2- Egyptians abroad on scholarships. 3- Egyptians who work in the diplomatic corps or international organizations.
