The increasing in population growth in A.R.E and associated changes in consumption patterns of agricultural commodities are one of the obstacles to economic and social development.This leads to insufficient domestic production of these commodities to meet increasing in consumer needs.Despite of efforts to fill the gap in many of these goods or keep them without major deterioration,So the gap is still present and deficiency is clear in a number of commodities,resulting in using of importing to cover the gap and meet increasing in population needs.

CAPMAS is keen to issue "Annual Bulletin of Movement of Production,Foreign Trade and Available for Consumption of Agricultural Commodities" to determine the consumption pattern,Average per capita,Gap between production and consumption,Self-sufficiency rate from these commodities.CAPMAS provides this bulletin hoping to achieve its objectives,It also welcomes any suggestions or notes from interested parties and researchers in this field in order to meet their needs.
