        <![CDATA[First: The Bulletin target: 
        To identify the size and characteristics of the Egyptians with permits to work abroad so that the state can draw up foreign immigration policies to confront its disadvantages and increase the benefits of its advantages. 
    Second: The Sources of data collection Bulletin: 
The data of the bulletin is from the General Authority of Work permits at the Ministry of Interior, which is the basic reference for counting the Egyptians working abroad. It grants work permits to Egyptian citizens who works for foreign agencies or authorities outside the country (private- government). 
    Third: The Inclusiveness: 
The bulletin includes the data of Egyptians who obtain permits to work abroad in the form of secondments, personal contracts, vacation trips, workers on foreign ships who are considered temporary immigrants and considers as temporary immigration and not includes the following: (1) Egyptians working abroad in governmental and private sectors or in Egyptian companies carrying out works abroad.  (2) Egyptians who are abroad in a scholarship.  (3) Egyptians who work in diplomatic entities or international authorities.

          <![CDATA[ Fifth:Definitions and concepts used in the bulletin:
    1- Work permit: it is a certified documentation issued by the official institutions of the state as a fundamental condition to allow citizens that wish to travel to another country for the purpose of working abroad. It is considered a permission for the citizen to approve his travel to work outside the Egyptian borders and is issued by the General Administration of Work Permits of the Ministry of Interior. The permit is renewed every five years.
    2- Work permits issued to Egyptians to work abroad are divided according to the type of contract as follows:
  A- Secondments:
Includes Egyptian individuals who work in government agencies and the public sector / public business based on the request of foreign entities outside Egypt to work there for a limited period, to whom the state has agreed to grant permits to work abroad.

  B- Personal Contracting:
It is concerned with individuals who contract with employers outside the Arab Republic of Egypt directly and do not work in government agencies and the public sector / public business (individuals who work in the private sector or without work).

  C- Leaves:
Includes individuals who are employees of the government and the public sector / public business who have personal work contracts and obtain leaves from their employers to work abroad.

  D- Workers on foreign ships:
Individuals who have work permits on foreign ships and hold a maritime passport.
