<abstract>
<![CDATA[Social accounts matrix is an integrated data system, through it, the most prominent interconnections that exist between the different sectors in the national economy appear, whether these interrelationships and intertwining between local sectors each other or between them and the outside world.This matrix takes the square shape, in which all flows related to all dealers inside and outside the national economy are recorded. The rows in this matrix express “received” while the columns express “paid”, sum of columns must equal sum of rows. Thus, this matrix represents one of the analytical tools that depict economy mechanism through circular flows.This matrix is distinguished from national accounts and supply & use tables data in that it is not limited to income generation and use data, but also includes income distribution among the organizational sectors (financial - non-financial - government - families). Based on the available data and the purpose from matrix synthesis, its calculations can be detailed to address some of the economic problems by building economic models such as General Equilibrium Model (CGE).Social accounts matrix for the Egyptian economy 2010/2011 was built in detail, as it was prepared and synthesised from 144 rows x 144 columns, It includes seven accounts: Productive activities, Goods and services products, Production factors and Organizational sectors except Government, Savings / Investment, Outside world account.]]>
